Estimating
Estimates
are by Customer Part Number
in the Finished Goods Table. They can be kept
and retrieved into quotes by Customer and quantity.
JMAS2000 supports estimates and orders for jobs requiring
subcomponents.

A
method is set up for
a particular customer and customer part number.
The information entered is used to estimate the job
and set up the job when it becomes an order.
Once a method is set up it can be used for many orders
or even as a subcomponent.
A
method contains the following
information:
- Finished
Goods - contains a description of the part,
date established, and other information about the
part.
- Bill
of Operations - shows labor
operations and detailed instructions required to
produce the part.
- Bill
of Materials - A list of all
the materials to be used from inventory.
- Bill
of Subcontract Purchases - A
list of all purchases for materials or outside services.
- Bill
of Specifications - special
information about the part.
- Bill
of Quality Control - QC function
to be performed in the production process.
- Bill
of Specifications - A list
of the engineering changes made to the part.
